Vietnam, Japan cooperate in seeking solutions to tourist overload

Tourism experts of Vietnam and Japan compared notes on measures to handle tourist overload and build satellite destinations, towards the development of a more sustainable tourism for Vietnam, at in international seminar in Hanoi on October 23. The governance of the Vietnam's monetary policy, including the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), has to concurrently guarantee multiple targets such as reducing interest rates, expanding credit, stabilising foreign exchange rates, and ensuring credit institutions’ safety. The Deputy Governor, Dao Minh Tu, has stated that thorough consideration is needed before any steps are taken to implement measures to combat tourist overload.
